The Houston Space Museum commissioned Sleepless Design Lab (in collaboration with Mighty Industries), providing a style reference and a wishlist of concepts. We got to work right away.

First, we brought Astronaut Dr. Megan McArthur into Proto's Luma Hologram Box. She appears as a holographic welcome to greet school kids, guiding them into the Houston Space Museum's Science Deck, where they can participate in and conduct real space science experiments with genuine real-world impact.

As the first companion piece, we produced Microgravity: How Floating Fuels Discovery, the inaugural chapter in a series of two-minute animated videos designed for in-museum installations. These target middle-school-aged audiences and explain complex space-related concepts in an engaging way.
